As a precursor to the launch and introduction of the C1e as part of Starlite’s fleet renewal programme, numerous AS 322L Super Puma helicopters were leased from Vector Aerospace. These aircraft, newly refurbished and with the last generation of avionics equipment and dual GPS systems. Starlite took possession of aircraft in 2013, they were loaded into an AN124 in Vancouver, bound for their first contract in Afghanistan.
