VACANCY: DRIVER

Starlite Aviation Operations (Pty) Ltd has a requirement for a skilled, knowledgeable and responsible individual to fill this position in Durban within the Starlite Group.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: –

• Transport clients to and from destinations
• Keep the company vehicle clean both inside and outside
• Drive the company vehicle safely and responsibly
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Maintain a professional manner, in both communication and appearance
• Report any problems with the vehicle to the responsible manager
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip mileage checks on the vehicle and complete the necessary documentation both before and after using the vehicle
• Complete logbook for the mileage of the vehicle and monitor maintenance due

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and organisational skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

• Valid Driver’s License (Code 8 or 10)
• +- 2 years driving experience
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Hazchem Certificate (preferable)
• Excellent navigation skills
