Klara holds the position of Accountable Manager for Starlite Aviation Training Academy. With more than twenty four years’ experience in the aviation industry, she has a bespoke track record in sales and daily management of Starlite’s pilot training academy. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Klara began her working career in 1989, in the accounting and human resources sectors. She relocated to Durban and joined Starlite Aviation Group in 1999 as the Training Coordinator, adding aircraft sales to her portfolio in 2004. As the company grew, she was promoted to Administration Manager for both Aero Sales and Training.

In 2016, Klara accepted the position of Managing Director for Starlite Aviation Training Academy overseeing the day to day running of both the Mossel Bay and Virginia bases. She spearheaded the expansion of Starlite’s Durban campus, to include fixed wing training in 2018 and drone training in 2019.

Klara is recognised and respected in the aviation industry, as a successful businesswoman, owing to her knowledge of aircraft, professional business acumen and the outstanding after sales customer service that she provides.
